Custom made dreadlock set
Each set is handmade especially for you.
A custom dread set is a truly unique piece of handcrafted work. Because you can choose from various options—single-ended, double-ended, synthetic or human hair, and embellishments—the price varies per set. You can calculate this below while putting together your set.
Creating your set takes time and attention: each dread is handcrafted. I do this in addition to my studio appointments and my family, so the delivery time is an average of 3 to 4 weeks . This way, you know all the love and craftsmanship has gone into your set. Thank you for your patience ♡
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get an idea of the costs in advance?
Yes, absolutely—under this section (when creating your set), you'll find a handy tool to calculate it. Simply select your desired options.
Can I mix and vary items myself, or make special requests?
Yes! Whether you want different textures, colors, or lengths—that's exactly what custom means. Let your imagination run wild. You can let me know any additional requests in the notes when ordering your set.
How long does it take to make & deliver?
Because each dreadlock is carefully handcrafted, and I do this alongside my studio and family life, it takes about 3-4 weeks to complete. This way, your set gets all the attention and love it deserves.
How do I care for my custom set upon receipt?
Upon receipt, you'll receive care tips: how to wash, dry, and touch up your dreadlocks to keep them looking beautiful for years to come. Or read my blog post " Dreadlock Set Care: Here's How ."
Can I expand or adjust the set later?
Absolutely. If you'd like more volume or length later, for example, I'd be happy to help you with a follow-up set tailored to your original style. When ordering, please mention the order number of your current set and your desire to add to it.
What is the difference between single ended and double ended?

A single-ended dread has a single loop at the top. This allows you to attach the dread to your own hair with a braid. It looks like one dread per attachment point. Tip: Great if you're unsure about real dreads, as you can create a one-on-one look.
A double-ended dread is essentially one long dread folded in half. This creates the illusion of two dreads from a single attachment point—giving you more volume and fullness with fewer braids.
✧ In short:
- Single ended (SE) = more natural effect, less thick.
- Double ended (DE) = more volume, full hair faster.
What are wavy dreads?
Wavy dreads, also called curly dreads or hybrid locs, are dreadlocks made with a long, wavy/curly loose end. They look great in a set and provide volume and a flowy look. They can also be used to create a head full of curls.
What do I get if I choose braids?

I always make a mix of different braids. Below is an example of the four types. If you have a preference for a particular braid, please indicate this in the notes when ordering.
What length should I choose?
The best way to determine the correct length is to use a measuring tape or a piece of string to measure from the hair at the base of your neck to the crown of your head . This will give you a good idea of where the dreads will fall approximately at a certain length, for example, 50 cm.
Besides fixed lengths (like 50 cm), you can also opt for a layered set . This means the dreads aren't all the same length, but are built up in soft layers—for example, from a minimum of 15 cm to a maximum of 40 cm. This is a particularly nice option for partials , as the transition between your own hair and the dreadset is as natural and seamless as possible.
What's the difference between blunt and flowy dots?
There are three types of tips: thin tip, loose tip, and flowy tip, blunt tip. See the image below:
