Invitation to cooperate

The Loc Craft Studio is a small-scale studio specializing in applying real dreadlocks, braiding, and making dreadlock sets and handmade hair decorations.
A place where hair is not just hair, but an extension of one's process, identity and transformation.

I consciously work one-on-one, from a place of calm, attention, and professionalism—with space for conversation, silence, and genuine presence. Quality, gentleness, and honest craftsmanship are always paramount.

My studio is growing, and to continue supporting that growth in a way that truly resonates, I'm extending this invitation. Not as a vacancy, not as a permanent position, but as an invitation to collaborate.

Why I am sharing this invitation

My agenda is largely filled with regular clients for touch-ups and braiding.
To create space for peace, creation and balance — and to continue to serve my clients well — I am exploring whether there is someone with whom I can work independently.

Someone who:
• appreciates the same pace
• works with attention and care
• respects the customer transformation process
• is independent, but likes to work in a warm studio

The collaboration

This concerns a self-employed collaboration, not an employment relationship.

• You work as a self-employed person within The Loc Craft Studio
• The collaboration starts small-scale and flexible
• Focus is on updating and/or braiding
• Planning, rates and clients are handled through the studio
• The compensation is based on a turnover share per customer
• We agree together on what is appropriate - nothing is fixed, everything can grow

I think it is important that there is space to get to know each other, without expectations or pressure.

Who I'm looking for

You don't have to be able to do 'everything'.
I do hope you recognize yourself in the following:

• You work carefully and with attention
• You have experience with dreadlocks (touching up and/or braiding) or would like to learn how to do this
• You communicate calmly and clearly
• You respect someone's process and boundaries
• You are independent, but not rushed
• You feel comfortable in a small, personal studio

Above all: you work from feeling.

Does this feel like something for you?

Then I invite you to contact me.
Not with a perfect cover letter, but simply with an honest message about who you are, how you work and what you are looking for.

We can then get to know each other and see if there is a match - without any obligations.

Send a message - hello@theloccraftstudio.com

With love,
Lynn
