General terms and conditions
Thank you for choosing The Loc Craft Studio. By placing an order or booking an appointment, you agree to the terms and conditions below. I like to keep things personal, clear, and human.

2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all products and services offered through my webshop or studio. This includes online purchases, custom-made products, consultations, and treatments in the studio.
3. Offer & Agreement
The offer is non-binding and described as completely as possible. Obvious errors or mistakes in prices, product information, or images do not bind The Loc Craft Studio. When you place an order or confirm an appointment, the agreement is concluded.
4. Prices & Payment
✧ All prices are in euros and include VAT.
✧ For webshop products, you pay in advance via iDEAL, Wero, PayPal, credit card, or other offered payment methods.
✧ For services, the payment method may vary per service. If a deposit or full payment is required in advance, this will be clearly stated during booking or ordering. Any remaining costs will be paid after the appointment.
✧ Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email, and your order will be prepared.
For custom-made products, the purchase of materials and production will begin as soon as possible after payment is received.
5. Shipping & Delivery
✧ Orders are shipped every Monday.
✧ You will receive a track & trace code once your package is on its way.
✧ Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
Custom-made products have a longer delivery time than products in stock. An indication of the expected delivery time is stated with each custom-made product. I do my utmost to adhere to this schedule.
6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the last item of your order, without giving any reason.
Do you wish to exercise this right of withdrawal? You can register your return via My account → Orders on the website or by sending an email to hello@theloccraftstudio.com stating your name and order number. After withdrawal, you have another 14 days to return the product.
Conditions for return:
• The product is in its original condition and has not been used or damaged.
• Wearable products, such as hair wraps and ready-made dreadlock sets, have not been worn or braided in.
• The product is – if applicable – in its original packaging.
• The product is not excluded from return.
✧ Return shipments are at your own expense and are shipped by the customer.
✧ You may choose your own carrier.
✧ Always include your order number in the return package and keep your proof of shipment until your return has been processed.
After correct receipt and inspection, the purchase amount of the returned products will be refunded within 14 days via the original payment method.
Exclusion of right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded for:
🚫 Custom-made or tailor-made products that have been specifically made according to your wishes.
🚫 Opened sealed products, such as shampoos, sprays, or other hair care products.
🚫 Services, such as treatments, that have been fully performed with your prior consent.
Ready-made dreadlock sets
Ready-made dreadlock sets may be returned, provided they are unused, unworn, unbraided, and in original condition. For hygienic reasons, dreadlock sets that have been worn, braided in, or otherwise used cannot be returned.
Cancel order
Standard products in stock can be canceled free of charge as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Cancellation can be done via My account → Orders or by email to hello@theloccraftstudio.com stating your name and order number.
Custom-made products are specially designed for you and handmade. After receiving your order, the purchase of materials and production will begin as soon as possible. Therefore, orders for custom-made products cannot be canceled free of charge once the purchase of materials or production has started.
7. Warranty & Non-conformity
Should you receive a defective or wrong product, please report this as soon as possible after discovery. I will then gladly look for a suitable solution with you.
Product descriptions on the website have been prepared as carefully as possible. Small differences in color, scent, or texture may occur and do not automatically constitute a reason for refund or compensation.
8. Force Majeure
In unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, malfunctions in payment systems, transport problems, or extreme weather conditions, The Loc Craft Studio may temporarily adjust or postpone the execution of the agreement. In consultation, we will then look for a suitable solution.
9. Complaints & Disputes
Do you have a complaint about an order or treatment? Please let me know. I will gladly look for a suitable solution with you.

✧ State what is going on and include your order number.
✧ You will receive a substantive response within 3 working days.
If there is a legal dispute, the dispute can be submitted to the competent Dutch court.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including texts, photos, and designs, is the property of The Loc Craft Studio, unless otherwise stated. Nothing herein may be copied, distributed, or reused without prior written permission.
11. Liability
The Loc Craft Studio takes the utmost care with its products and services. Nevertheless, The Loc Craft Studio cannot be held liable for damage arising from:
• Incorrect use or incorrect care of products.
• Allergies or hypersensitivity.
• Existing hair or health problems.
• Delays in delivery beyond the control of The Loc Craft Studio.
This does not affect the legal rights of consumers regarding a defective product. If in doubt or with questions, I am happy to help you.
12. Studio Appointments
Separate conditions apply to appointments in the studio. You can find these on the page Studio appointments & house rules. This includes more information about cancellations, deposits, and how to prepare for your appointment.
For services that have been fully performed with your prior consent, there is no right of withdrawal.
13. Final Provisions
✧ If a provision in these terms and conditions proves to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain fully in force.
✧ In that case, the relevant provision will be replaced by a provision that corresponds as closely as possible to the original intention.
✧ These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
